Mobility aid is a device designed to assist walking or otherwise improve the mobility of people with a mobility impairment. There are various walking aids which can help people with impaired ability to walk and wheelchairs or mobility scooters for more severe disability or longer journeys which would otherwise be undertaken on foot.

A variety of mobility-related disabilities result from neuro-muscular and orthopedic impairments. These disabilities may be congenital, or they may be the result of an accident or illness. They may include conditions such as spinal cord injury, paralysis, cerebral palsy, severe forms of arthritis, polio/post-polio, spinal bifida, orthopedic injury, or amputation, later stages of AIDS, stroke, and muscular dystrophy. Some students may have invisible disabilities that include pulmonary/respiratory disorders, cardiac conditions, epilepsy, cystic fibrosis, multiple sclerosis, Fibromyalgia and other limiting conditions.

Clinical Assessment
We provide seating System from Blatchford (one of the leading manufacturer in seating system). Their clinician will carry out comprehensive assessments, involving all members of the patient’s team including their family, careers, therapists, rehabilitation engineers and seating clinician. This approach is focused on getting it “right first time” to enable the patient to get their seat as quickly as possible and to minimize wheelchair service waiting lists. Together, the team works with the patient and their family to decide on the most appropriate outcome for the seating design. The concept of “See the person, not the chair”, is the important concept that matters with us.

Walking aids – as per the recommendation of the Physicians or Physiotherapist to the patient.

Measurement – Seating System measurement procedure being carried out by the Seating System Specialist clinician.

Walking Aids – measurement is aided by the Orthotist.

Measurement Fitting
Seating system Clinician assess, review and handover manual and powered wheelchairs and accessories for long term conditions. Blatchford offer a range of wheelchairs to meet both the postural needs of the patients and the lifestyle needs of patients and careers. A thorough holistic assessment is carried out to determine the appropriate need for either a powered or manual wheelchair. At the point of delivery comprehensive training and advice is given on how to safely operate the wheelchair.
After measurement fitting will carry out by our Specialist clinician trial fitting procedure is carefully manage to make sure correct size, individually adjusted and the patient will have a well fitted orthopedic supports to ensure good benefits and remarkable effectiveness.

Walking aids – our Orthotist will adjust the walking aids according to the patient.

Final Fitting

The Seating System Clinicians will finalize the final fitting procedure and insures you to find it easy to fit the orthopedic supports and understand the functions and effectiveness it’ll brings to you.

After Sale
We are providing warranty period for each Seating System. Any problem experienced by the patient during the warranty period, repair work will be done without any cost.
